When You Know You Had to Put the Pen Down

A warm-toned desk setup featuring a tablet, notebook, and pen for a productive workspace.

And she is back.

It’s been a few weeks since my last post, and I wanted to take a moment to explain my absence. While it may seem like I’ve been quiet, I assure you that I’ve been hard at work behind the scenes—writing, brainstorming, and conducting research. The truth is, the material I’ve created recently has leaned heavily toward the negative, and I felt it was best to put the pen down rather than share that energy with you.

I’ve come to realize that our emotional states affect our writing. When I’m feeling discouraged or frustrated, that negativity inevitably seeps into my words. My intention for this blog has always been to explore life’s ups and downs with a balanced perspective and not from a place of bitterness or negativity. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how some of my drafts have turned out.

Right now, I have about five posts waiting in my drafts, all in need of a significant overhaul. I plan to refine them and then seek feedback from a friend to ensure that the tone is constructive and positive. Life has presented several challenges for me lately, especially concerning my health and living situation which you’re probably already aware of. For now, it feels like I’m in a waiting game as I navigate these hurdles, hoping for positive outcomes.

I catch myself slipping into a negative mindset again, despite my efforts to keep things optimistic. Yet, I believe fervently that every problem has a solution—if both parties are willing to collaborate in good faith. That’s the spirit I’m aiming for right now.

Despite these challenges, I’m optimistic about sharing more content with you soon. I aim to have a couple of new posts ready for publication in the coming days.  One in particular, which I’ll be sharing later today, includes crucial information that I believe every family should know.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this time. I’m working diligently to regain my strength, both physically and mentally. I look forward to returning to my usual form and sharing more uplifting and constructive content with you all!
